ASOS have started an eco- edit range! This is definitely a step in the right direction, but some of it should be taken with a pinch of salt. They define ‘eco- edit’ in incredibly liberal terms, and a lot of their clothes are still made with materials that are from ideal. Having said this, you can also find some great items if you take the time to have a trawl through. I was looking for a bando and came across this one in the sale. It fits well, is super comfy, and I haven’t come across it’s equivilant in many other ethical stores.
ASOS may not be the best of places to shop in general, but using their eco- edit range sends a powerful message that people do care, and this section should be continued and grown. In an ideal world, everything they sell would be environmentally friendly.
